Amtico is a British luxury vinyl tile manufactured in Coventry, and it lives or dies by what is underneath it. We are an Amtico-trained installer covering West Essex from our Loughton workshop. How we fit amtico
- Step 1. Free in-home survey: moisture readings, SR-level assessment of the existing subfloor, sample drop-off from the full Amtico range, and a fixed written quote within 48 hours.
- Step 2. Subfloor preparation: damp-proof membrane if readings demand it, ply overlay or self-levelling latex screed to achieve SR2 minimum, all furniture protected and dust-extracted.
- Step 3. Conditioning: Amtico planks are acclimatised in your room for 24 hours minimum so the LVT reaches equilibrium with the heating and humidity profile of your home.
- Step 4. Precision fit: dry-laid first, scribed to skirtings, bonded with Amtico-approved pressure-sensitive adhesive, rolled with a 45kg roller in two passes for a wrinkle-free finish.
- Step 5. Sign-off: we leave the job clean, vacuum the underlay area twice, supply care kit and warranty card, and book a free 6-week quality-check visit.

Amtico provides a 20-year residential wear warranty on the product itself. On top of that, LPG provides a 5-year fitting guarantee covering lifting, peaking, gapping and adhesive failure caused by our installation. We register every job with Amtico under your name on completion so the manufacturer warranty is live from day one.
