This privacy policy explains how Local Property Group Ltd ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use this website, request a quote, or hire us for property maintenance, refurbishment or compliance work. We are the data controller for personal data we collect about you. We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

Name, email address, phone number, property address, photographs of the work area, payment details for invoiced work, and basic site analytics (page views, device type). For survey work we may also hold compliance documentation, occupant feedback and risk-assessment data.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, schedule work, raise invoices, send statutory certificates (CP12, EICR, EPC), maintain audit trails for disrepair-protocol and Awaab's Law compliance, and improve our service.

Lawful basis

Contract performance (delivering work you have engaged us for); legitimate interest (responding to quote enquiries, improving the site); legal obligation (HMRC records, building-control records, statutory certificates); and consent (marketing emails — opt-in only, opt-out any time).

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries: 12 months. Work records and invoices: 7 years (HMRC). Compliance certificates and survey photos: 10 years or for the statutory period required by the certificate. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion (subject to our statutory retention duties), restriction of processing, or portability. Email admin@localpropertygroup.co.uk. You may also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
