How our hourly pricing works
Hourly call-out work is charged in 30-minute increments after the first hour, with no premium for evenings or weekends. A 90-minute job at the £85/hr plumber rate costs £127.50, not a rounded-up £170. Parts are charged at trade rate plus 15%, itemised separately on every invoice. Inside the M25 there is no call-out fee. Beyond the M25 a flat travel surcharge applies, quoted upfront.
Fixed-price projects (boiler installs, bathroom refits, loft conversions, full refurbs) are quoted after a free site survey. Once accepted the price is binding unless you change the scope in writing — no provisional sums, no end-of-job surprise add-ons.
