A real engineered-oak herringbone floor is the single best return-on-investment upgrade we install across London, Essex and the Home Counties. We fit only multi-layer engineered boards (3-ply or 5-ply construction, minimum 4mm oak wear layer) · never solid wood, because solid wood and modern underfloor heating are a warranty claim waiting to happen.
